Established in 1972 in Yuanlin, Taiwan, Merida is today the world's second largest bicycle manufacturer.
Each year it produces over 2 million pieces, distributed in 77 Countries, covering all disciplines: road, gravel, MTB, e-bike and urban mobility.
Design and development takes place in Germany, at Merida's European R&D headquarters. This is where the frames, geometries and innovations that also power the World Tour are born. Production, handled entirely in its own factories in Asia, ensures total control of the supply chain and consistent quality standards.

Since 2017, Merida has been the sole supplier of Team Bahrain Victorious, a key player in the UCI World Tour calendar. Every bike used in the race is an official Merida, designed in the European R&D center in Magstadt.
